Nothing else. We never ask for an address, a phone number or a surname. Your child’s first name is used only to make the story personal. At signup you can tick a box, and the child in the story will be called Nora or Noah instead, so the real first name never appears in any story.
We process this data to provide the service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for receiving the daily stories, on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give through a double opt-in confirmation.
Talitha is for parents and grandparents, not for children. An adult with parental responsibility signs up. By signing up you confirm that you are entitled to consent on behalf of the named child (Art. 8 GDPR). Children cannot sign up themselves and we never collect data from a child directly.
Anthropic and Higgsfield only ever receive what the story needs (first name, age group, companion), never your email address. Your data is never sold and never passed on for advertising.
For as long as you use Talitha. The link at the bottom of every email lets you pause delivery yourself at any time. On the same page one button deletes all your data for good, and the name, the companion and your email address are gone immediately.
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and you may withdraw your consent at any time, most easily through the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email or by writing to support@gettalitha.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

Talitha delivers one personal children’s story by email each day. During the current test phase it is free, no payment details are required and no subscription is created. After the official launch Talitha will cost 9.99 euros per month, cancellable monthly. The payment route will be announced before launch, and nothing is charged until then.

The stories are written with the help of artificial intelligence and read and approved by Michael Rüsel before they go out. They are bedtime stories for families. They do not replace pastoral care or the biblical text itself, and the Bible passage behind each story is named underneath it so you can look it up.
